In fond Memory of Late Dr. (Mrs.) Kamal Kodkany , On her Birth Anniversary , i.e. 18 December, 11 Patients underwent free Cataract Surgery with State of the Art- Micro Incision Cataract Surgery Technology at Dr. Kodkany’s Eye Centre –Ayodhya Nagar branch.
Mrs. Manisha Subadar –Journalist and Press reporter at Tarun Bharat was the Chief Guest , She is the winner of Aruna Asaf Ali award by All India Federation She is the Third woman in the Country to receive this award . She is also Conferred the Mahila Ratna award by Nagnur Swami Math.
The Guest of honor was Mrs Asha Ruttonji ,E x-Principal Balika-Adarsh High School and President Shardotshav. Dr. B. S. Kodkany senior Gynecologists' also graced the function. Mrs. Parvati Rajshekar a close family friend of the Kodkany’s also attended the function.
Every Year on this Day Dr. Shilpa Kodkany and her team conducts free surgeries for the needy people. In the past 20 years 430 free surgeries are successfully done. To date Dr. Kodkany’s Eye Centre has performed more than 25,000 surgeries. It is seen that really needy Patients wait for this day to undergo this State of the Art Mirco Incision Cataract Surgery.
