Kodkany Eye Centre was started in the year 2000 by Dr. Shilpa Kodkany and has been in the forefront of excellence for Eye Care services for almost two decades. Dr. Kodkany has an experience of 25 years in the field of ophthalmology and is a renowned surgeon for the treatment of various complex procedures in North Karnataka and Maharashtra. She strongly believes in the importance of spreading awareness about regular Eye Care from an early age and conducts various free camps to promote awareness. We, as a team are constantly striving towards bringing in new advancements and technology in the eye care services to aid patients to receive better care and pain-free procedures.

We started the hospital when the idea of an exclusive eye hospital in Belgaum was just taking shape and have emerged as an established organisation for all major eye care practices. Kodkanys Eye Centre is built on a foundation laid by a strong team of experienced doctors led by Dr. Shilpa Kodkany. The hospital is equipped with state of the art investigative and surgical equipment that help a patient get an extensive diagnosis about their conditions. Each patient goes through a thorough check up, pre-diagnosis to get clear results about the health of their eyes. The hospital also promotes easy access for patients to various informative boards that allow them to know about various conditions and ailments about the eye and the preventive or precautionary measures to avoid them.

We have been recently granted the permission from the Government of Karnataka for Keratoplasties (Human Organ Transplant Act). In addition to this, we are certified by NABH for providing the highest quality of patient care and we wish to promote the most healthy practices in the field of Eye Care.
